There is no higher priority than the safety of our Scouts, Scouting families, Scouting business partners and employees and our teams are always evaluating risks that may come with Scouting. With that in mind, we continue tracking the rapidly evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) and to review how the virus may impact Scouting in the Mayflower Council and we are suspending all council and district in-person group meetings, trainings, activities, events, etc. through the end of May. In an abundance of caution, we will be canceling the Metacomet District Dinner, that is scheduled for this May 19 because this event brings a large number of Scouters together. We will be issuing full refunds to everyone by the end of the month and have begun planning a bigger, better District Dinner for 2021.
