This is a fun and exciting training for all Cub Scout leaders. If your pack goes camping, at least one leader at the event must be BALOO-trained. BALOO is the first step in the evolving BSA camping training program. A very capable staff will prepare you for fun and successful family pack overnight camp outs. By completing this course you will: understand the focus of the Cub Scout level of the BSA camping program; acquire the skills and confidence necessary to plan and carry out a successful, first-time Cub Scouts-level camping activity; increase your knowledge of the resources available from the BSA and other sources to carry out this activity; and understand the requirements for successful completion of this activity, using national standards as guidelines.

Please note: We will start our day with an indoor session at the Hingham Library, followed by cooking and outdoor activities at the Hingham Scout House just up the road.
Lunch and all program supplies are included.
